Maslow's Hierarchy Of Needs- a theory in psychology proposed by Abraham Maslow, which i think is very true. The pyramid consists of 5 levels and each lower need must be met before moving to the next higher level.
Physiologic Needs- physiological needs of the human being like eating, drinking, sleeping, warmth
Safety & Security- the need for a safe and secure environment (eg. riots, health and well-being, financial security)
Belonging & affection- the need to feel a sense of belonging and acceptance. All humans need to love and be loved by others. In the absence of this elements, many people become susceptible to loneliness and depression.
Esteem & self-respect - the need to be respected, to have self-esteem, self-respect, and to respect others. When this need is satisfied, the person feels self-confident and valuable as a person in the world.
Self-actualization - a state of self-fulfillment in which people realise their highest potentials, each in his or her own unique way. People will feel at ease with themselves and will be satisfied that they are using their talents to the fullest.
I think im somewhere between the 3rd and 4th level
wonder how long it would be for me to reach the highest level...
how about u guys?
