went to meet him as usual.
they kept talking n i got bored so i rested my head on the table, ready to day dream or sleep, whichever.
but before i know it, this familiar carrier appeared right in front of my face. (around an inch away, to be exact)
i looked at him in surprise, unable to speak for a second.
(i'm not exaggerating cos he really isn't the most generous person i know, if u get what i mean.)
"Huh?" i managed to squeak.
"For Otis," he said without any expression.
(i guess he has problem giving out gifts. he cant do it well.)
"Can i open?" i asked rather excitedly now.
"Fei hua! Since when did u see any items for dogs being sold at Guess?" he rolled his eyes.
that's when i confirmed that it's for me.
i was thrilled and genuinely surprised that he actually remembered what i said i want as my belated V day gift. (yes, belated, obviously. shit him.)
Conclusion: It pays to be thick-skinned :D
