Obsolescence, a word that leaves naueous feeling.
Oh. seems like i've been experiencing that alot recently.
But sadly, no , i am not pregnant.

"The year is almost half-way through. How many of you students are still in dreamland?"
This sentence from Mr wong's blog shook mi up a little.
My heart beat stopped,
"HALF THE YEAR IS GONE ALREADY?"
and yet, here i am, with a humongous pile of work undone as i sat fussing about over my nails and the likes.
Yes, i am one of those still up there floating about, in such peaceful and calm dreams.
whoever wants to leave this heavenly place?
Too much of a good thing can be bad too.
It has long been overdued for mi to leave.
How long has it been, since i worked really hard for something?
Did i even try at all?
Arrogance, it seems, brings about complacency and smug satisfaction.
How do i put this into words?
All those years, i seem to be surviving on hygiene factors - they merely prevents dissatifactions.
Motivational facters to stimulate exceptional performance wasnt in place.
Bs and Cs just dont make the cut.
As do it for mi.

How else can we survive obsolescence in this world?

a)An Adapter - you don’t need to be particularly good in anything. You just need to be adaptable to the changing environment and learn to survive in it. This is something our government is encouraging Singaporeans to be by training and re-training.

b)An irreplaceable Specialist - not just any specialist, but someone who’s skills are irreplaceable and cannot be replicated by anyone else. One good example would be people like Steven Spielberg. Can you imagine anyone else having the creatively to make ET or Indiana Jones?

To mi, a) simply spells B-O-R-I-N-G.

Laidback brings about disappointment.
